You're My Rabbit
2001 - Installation (mixed-media with audio)
With this piece, I wanted to build a projected image
that would accompany my song You're My Rabbit.
I built a "projector contraption" that had slide images that
rotated
with the help of a motor. The images were projected on a screen that
I knit out of angora yarn. The audio for the piece played out of 2 yarn
ball speakers.
The images that were projected were images of my angora rabbit named
Ella running in and out of the frame.
