Tin Can Project: Network 2
2002 - Installation (interactive mixed-media)

In this piece, I built a series of networks. On the inner area of the piece, was a hanging network of led lights, lemons, wire, and plants. Around this, was another network made of a carbon telegraph, 2 tin can telephones, and salt wave visualizers. The telegraphs in the piece were built from instructions that I found online from a Smithsonian exhibition from 1976 that celebrated the telephone.

Viewers could listen, make static, or experiment with sound waves. The layout and structure of the piece was designed to feel like a scientific model.
